THE UK TOP TEN
This week, we see three new entries and a single re-entry. To make way for these titles, we bid farewell to The Fall Guy, Oppenheimer, Barbie and Terrifier 3. But what has arrived to take their places, and where have they entered? Grab your broomstick as we find out.

WICKED SINGS ITS WAY TO A SECOND WEEK AT THE TOP!
It’s a second big week at Number 1 for the musical spectacular Wicked. The film shows true staying power as it racks up over 116k sales this week, for a total of 280.6k over its opening two weeks. (Read our review here.)

CONCLAVE IS STILL SEQUESTERED AT NUMBER TWO!
For a second week, Wicked holds off competition from mystery thriller Conclave which holds strong at Number 2.

THE WILD ROBOT RETURNS AT NUMBER THREE!
Dreamworks’ adventure The Wild Robot soars 13 places back up to its previous peak of Number 3. The film’s voice cast includes a heap of popular names including Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy, Kit Connor, Mark Hamill, Matt Berry and Ving Rhames. (Read our review here.)

SEVEN IS NEW AT NUMBER FOUR!
This week’s highest new entry comes from the 1995 crime thriller Seven at Number 4, which enters the chart for the very first time following a new 4K UHD release including a limited edition Steelbook.

ALIEN: ROMULUS CONTINUES TO SCARE US AT NUMBER FIVE!
Alien: Romulus claims a place in the Top 5 for another week at Number 5. (Read our review here.)

VENOM STILL DANCING AT SIX!
Venom: The Last Dance continues to dance, falling two places to Number 6. (Read our review here.)

DUNE GETS BLOWN AWAY!
Dune: Part Two gets blown away as it drops four places to Number 7. (Read our review here.)

THE CHART GETS AN APPRENTICE!
Our second new entry this week comes from the Donald Trump early-career biopic The Apprentice, starring Sebastian Stan as Trump and Jeremy Strong as infamous lawyer Roy Cohn. Landing in at Number 8 this week, it enters the chart following its release on disc.

BAD BOYS RIDING DOWN THE CHART!
Bad Boys: Ride or Die rides down a place to Number 9. (Read our review here.)

WILL YOU SURVIVE AT NUMBER TEN?
The French sci-fi action film Survive (2024) concludes the top ten at Number 10, which enters the Top 10 for the first time after climbing two places. A couple celebrates their son’s birthday in the middle of the ocean on their boat. A violent storm hits and it brings up hungry creatures from the depths and they fight for their survival.

TIME TO ENTER THE ARENA AGAIN!
And that is this week’s top ten titles. Hitting digital download to buy this week is the long-awaited, long-gestating sequel, Gladiator II. Once again directed by Ridley Scott, the film stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz, Derek Jacobi, Connie Nielsen, and Denzel Washington. Mescal portrays Lucius Verus Aurelius, the exiled Prince of Rome, who becomes a prisoner of war and fights as a gladiator for Macrinus, a former slave who plots to overthrow the twin emperors Geta and Caracalla. WILL YOU JOIN THE WAR OF THE ROHIRRIM?
Or you can ride into battle with the animated The Lord Of The Rings: The War Of The Rohirrim. The film is set 183 years before Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings film trilogy (2001–2003) and tells the story of Helm Hammerhand, a legendary king of Rohan, and his family as they defend their kingdom against an army of Dunlendings. You can buy the film early for £19.99 or rent it for £15.99 on PVOD. (Read our review here.)
