Launching globally on Prime Video on May 1st is the sequel, Another Simple Favour. The film is the follow-up to the 2018 smash hit, A Simple Favour. Anna Kendrick. Blake Lively. Henry Golding. Andrew Rannells. Bashir Salahuddin. Joshua Satine, and Ian Ho all reprise their roles from the first film. This time, they are supported by Michele Morrone. Elizabeth Perkins, and Allison Janney. In the new film, a murder transpires at Emily’s extravagant wedding to an Italian businessman on the island of Capri, Italy. Paul Feig resumes his role as director, while Jessica Sharzer, who returns from the first film, handles the screenplay along with Laeta Kalogridis.
Exactly how the film plays out is still a mystery. At the conclusion of the first film *SPOILER ALERT*, Blake Lively’s character, Emily Nelson, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the double murder of her father and sister. Anna Kendrick’s character, Stephanie Smothers and her knack for solving crimes made her a part-time private detective who helped successfully solve thirty cold cases.

Stephanie Smothers (Anna Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) reunite on the beautiful island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman. Along with the glamorous guests, expect murder and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square.
