Uncover the latest blockbuster hits in The Official Film Chart and see what movies are trending this week.
Welcome to The Official Film Chart.
THE UK TOP TEN
This week sees one new entry and one re-entry into the chart placings. To make way for these two titles, we must say farewell to Nosferatu and Gladiator II. But what are replacing them and where have they entered? Grab your marmalade sandwiches as we find out.

PADDINGTON MUNCHING ON MARMALADE SANDWICHES AT THE TOP!
Paddington in Peru claims a second week at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart.

CONCLAVE BROADCASTING WHITE SMOKE AGAIN AT TWO!
Paddington fights off firm competition from political thriller Conclave, which rebounds two to Number 2.

MUFASA ROARS HIS WAY INTO THE CHART!
This week’s highest new entry is Mufasa. Mufasa, the photorealistic animated musical follow-up to Disney’s The Lion King (2019), debuts at Number 3 this week. Serving as both a prequel and a sequel to the 2019 remake of The Lion King, the film tells the story of Mufasa’s life with his treacherous younger brother Scar.

WICKED’S MAGIC IS WANING!
Former chart-topper Wicked loses more magic this week as it slips to Number 4.

MOANA 2 STARTING TO SINK!
The animated sequel, Moana 2, gets that sinking feeling as it slips down to Number 5.

VENOM LOSES A DANCING SHOE!
Venom: The Last Dance also falls this week, dropping to Number 6.

BRIDGET JONES’S BABY DELIVERS AGAIN!
The third film in the franchise, Bridget Jones’s Baby, bounces up two places to Number 7.

BRIDGET JONES’S DIARY WRITES A NEW CHAPTER!
The original film, Bridget Jones’s Diary, holds strong in the Top 10 at Number 8 as fans continue to catch up on the series following the release of Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy in cinemas.

THE WILD ROBOT GETS A SMALL RECHARGE!
The Wild Robot lifts one to Number 9 this week.

LET’SA GO! MARIO BOUNCES BACK INTO THE TOP TEN!
The animated adventure The Super Mario Bros Movie races up five to Number 10, returning to the Top 10 for the first time since May 2024.

GET YOUR RUNNING SHOES ON AGAIN WITH SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 3!
And that is all there is for this week. However, that lovable hedgehog, Sonic, has arrived on digital download. Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is now available to buy on the format for £13.99. Once again boasting a scene-stealing Jim Carrey, the third go around for the character and his friends finally introduces us to Shadow The Hedgehog, voiced by Keanu Reeves. The film is a real delight from beginning to end, and the stinger during the end credits has us cheering as well as seeing where the franchise will go next. I’ve already grabbed my copy, and if, like me, you love the franchise, grab it now for a fun night of family entertainment.

Can Sonic speed in and grab the top spot next week? Or will Paddington hold him off? There’s only one way to find out. So, until next week…
Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!
