Hot Toys continues to expand its line of figures from the infamous Batman & Robin film. Yesterday, they announced their Mr. Freeze figure. Collectors will be able to pose him next to Batman and Robin who were unveiled last year. There will be two editions – a normal one and deluxe edition that comes with additional accessories.
NORMAL EDITION
As a cold-hearted villain, Dr. Victor Fries, also known as Mr. Freeze, has the warmest heart for his wife, Nora, who suffers from a terminal illness. In order to cure Nora’s disease, Mr. Freeze plans to hold Gotham City for ransom by threatening to transform it into a frozen wasteland.
Adding to your Hot Toys 1/6th scale figure collection of Batman & Robin, Mr. Freeze is now presented in sixth scale with a beautiful metallic finish.Expertly crafted based on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s portrayal of Mr. Freeze in the movie, the figure features a newly developed head sculpt with ice-blue skin and realistic skin texture. Mr. Freeze’s specialized suit is faithfully recreated with a black and silver striped undersuit and layered armor pieces on top. Meanwhile, the armor is meticulously plated with metallic finishes and includes translucent and iridescent color parts on the upper arms, chest, thighs, and calves to enhance futuristic aesthetic and add an extra sense of coldness for the figure.
