Death runs in the family with the new trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines, coming this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures.
Death comes for us all. Death doesn’t like to be cheated. We have all heard those lines uttered during various parts of the Final Destination franchise. After 2011’s Final Destination 5, we all thought the franchise was over. But death is never too far away. Or doesn’t like to be forgotten about in the halls of Tinseltown’s writing rooms. After a hiatus of fourteen years, the franchise is back this summer with the sixth chapter, Final Destination: Bloodlines. Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein directed this film, while Guy Busick and Lori Evans Taylor wrote the script. It is based on characters created by Jeffrey Reddick, who gave birth to the franchise twenty-five years ago this March in cinemas.
Franchise and horror legend, the late Tony Todd, returns for his final appearance as the creepy William Bludworth. The cast includes Brec Bassinger, Teo Briones, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Richard Harmon, Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, Max Lloyd-Jones, Rya Kihlstedt, and Tinpo Lee. The new trailer for the film has unveiled its ominous theme of fate.
PREMISE
Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.
Warner Bros. Pictures distributes the film, a New Line Cinema production. Originally, the film was due to go straight to streaming on MAX. However, it was decided (wisely, in my opinion) to release the film theatrically instead.
THE POSTER
