THE NEW SERIES
The CANAL+ Creation Originale new season (8 x 52’) is once again written by series creator Howard Overman (War of The Worlds, Misfits). David Caffrey (The Gentlemen, The Alienist) is the lead director, alongside Alice Troughton (Boat Story, Baghdad Central). Returning to their roles are Ritu Arya (The Umbrella Academy, Polite Society) as fearless MI6 operative Zara Taylor. And Tewfik Jallab (Spiral, Dark Hearts) as former close protection officer Vincent Taleb. Their characters first appeared in PARIS HAS FALLEN, which debuted in September 2024 on CANAL+ France to widespread critical and audience acclaim. And sold to 170+ territories worldwide, distributed by STUDIOCANAL.
The series boasted the third-biggest on-demand launch ever for a CANAL+ Creation Originale on the CANAL+ App. Since then, it has premiered on multiple international platforms, topping Amazon UK’s charts.
