Fortnite x Star Wars: New Galactic Battle Season Announced at Star Wars Celebration

The latest addition to the Fortnite x Star Wars collaboration has introduced a wealth of Star Wars content, including a new Battle Pass and several iconic new skins!
Fortnite x Star Wars has awakened something evil…
It wouldn’t be Star Wars Celebration without a special announcement from the Fortnite team. Rumors of a new Star Wars content drop have been circulating for some time, and today, the teams from Lucasfilm and Epic Games have delivered an exciting array of Star Wars content.
On the fan stage, Jar Jar Binks actor Ahmed Best was on hand to announce an exciting new Star Wars-themed Battle Pass titled “Galactic Battle.” This mini-pass is filled with incredible unlockables, featuring playable characters such as Darth Jar Jar and Emperor Palpatine. They’re adding a bunch of the first mash-up skins! Evie’s getting some cool Jedi and Sith versions, and a Wookiee Cuddle Team Leader is about to make some noise in the pass.
NEW LOCATIONS
In addition to a new game mode called STAR DESTROYER BOMBARDMENT, the map will feature the Death Star in orbit. However, the Death Star’s presence is more than just a visual enhancement; it will also serve as a playable point of interest (POI) for battles. But before we start fuelling our X-Wings, check out the reveal trailer below.
NEW ITEM SHOP SKINS
If you’re not into battling for control on the Death Star, you’ll love that some cool new characters are hitting the Fortnite item shop. A new customizable Mandalorian skin is on the way for all the Mandalorian fans! And that’s not all—Samuel L. Jackson’s iconic Jedi Master Mace Windu is also bringing his skills to the shop, plus we’ve got fresh skins for Captain Phasma and Poe Dameron.
But that’s not all! Fortnite insiders are saying that new skins based on characters from Star Wars: Andor Season 2 are set to drop throughout the season. The key art shows the characters holding Cassian’s blaster rifle, which suggests that the legendary rebel hero is about to bring his rebellion vibe to the map.

What an incredible season of Star Wars awesomeness. The new Star Wars Battle Pass drops on May 2 and will stick around until June 8. This time frame includes Star Wars Day on May 4, which is always a big deal in Fortnite, known for awesome new stuff showing up in the item shop. Get ready for some amazing skins and game modes to roll out during this period!
