How far would you go to protect your child? That is the question that we must ponder with the upcoming thriller, Echo Valley. The film is coming to selected cinemas soon ahead of its Apple TV+ global premiere on June 13th. Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney star in a gripping new thriller from director Michael Pearce and writer Brad Ingelsby. It also features Domhnall Gleeson, Kyle MacLachlan, Fiona Shaw, and Edmund Donovan. Today, Apple Original Films unveiled the trailer for the upcoming thriller.

THE PREMISE

Starring Julianne Moore as “Kate Garretson”, the film follows a mother struggling to make peace with her troubled daughter Claire (multi-Emmy® nominee Sydney Sweeney). A situation that becomes even more perilous when Claire shows up on Kate’s doorstep. Hysterical and covered in someone else’s blood. As Kate pieces together what happened, she learns just how far a mother will go to try to save her child in this gripping tale of love. Sacrifice and survival. The film also stars Domhnall Gleeson. Kyle MacLachlan. Fiona Shaw, and Edmund Donovan and is directed by BAFTA Award-winner Michael Pearce (“Beast,” “Encounter”) from an original screenplay by Brad Inglesby (“Mare of Easttown”).

BEHIND THE SCENES

Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss produce “Echo Valley” for Scott Free, while Kevin Walsh from The Walsh Company (known for “House of Gucci” and “Manchester By The Sea”) collaborates as part of his multi-year producing deal with Apple TV+. Pruss and Inglesby developed the film together. Scott Greenberg, Rebecca Feuer, and Nicole Jordan-Webber from Scott Free, along with Erika Olde and Sam Roseme from Black Bicycle Entertainment, serve as executive producers. Tanja Tawadjoh takes on the role of co-producer.
