Fortnite x Knight Rider crossover: Get ready to race with the iconic Knight Industries 2000 K.I.T.T. from the action-packed 80s franchise in Fortnite.
Get ready to relive those childhood memories! The Knight Industries 2000 (K.I.T.T.) car from the classic ’80s TV show Knight Rider has landed in Fortnite. That’s right—the cool Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that David Hasselhoff’s Michael Knight drove is up for grabs in the item shop.
K.I.T.T. stole the show with his high-tech microprocessor (voiced by William Daniels) and excellent features like Turbo Boost and Pursuit Mode. Plus, K.I.T.T. could drive itself and be fully sentient, making it more of a sidekick than just a car. Fans of all ages went wild for it, which boosted sales of the model. A few years back, Rocket League players got to enjoy a collab that let them own K.I.T.T. and a bunch of cool cosmetics. But until now, Fortnite players have been left frustrated about not having any cross-compatibility.

HIT TURBO BOOST!
Thankfully, that is about to change because players can now buy K.I.T.T. from the Fortnite item shop. Complete with his iconic red light optics, custom sound effects, and a host of additional cosmetics, the vehicle is yours to own for the trivial sum of 1,800 V-Bucks. So, whether you’re in for a hefty dose of nostalgia or just looking for a sweet new ride, the Fortnite x Knight Rider deal is here to stay!
The bundle comes with the Knight Industries 2000 car body and a bunch of cool paint styles. Plus, there are some new decals and two sets of wheels. If you grab K.I.T.T. in Fortnite, you’ll also unlock it in Rocket League, as long as you’re logged into the same Epic Account for both games.

RELEASE
But there’s more! K.I.T.T. is just one of the cool collaborations coming up this year. Along with new skins and rides from the Fast & Furious movies, a new Star Wars season is underway. The Galactic Battle Pass is packed with awesome new skins that any Star Wars fan would totally appreciate. Plus, they’re teaming up with big names like DC, James Bond 007, TMNT, Borderlands, and Marvel’s Thunderbolts. Fortnite’s future is looking super exciting! But in the meantime, Knight Rider’s K.I.T.T. is available to own until May 16.Â
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some victims to attend to. I’ll see you on the map! K.I.T.T. get us outta here!
