Fortnite x Star Wars: Jar Jar Binks Brings the Gungan Menace to Fortnite!

Look out, Fortnite players, because Jar Jar Binks has arrived to bring some Gungan hijinks to the Fortnite x Star Wars update!
Get ready, Fortnite players, because Jar Jar Binks is bringing his form of Gungan calamity to the Fortnite x Star Wars season. Although we’ve known that Darth Jar Jar would bring his Dark Side abilities to the map this season, the latest update revealed that a classic design was also headed our way based on his appearance in The Phantom Menace.
The design is incredibly accurate and looks extremely detailed, and thankfully, the wait for the skin is already over. Even though the character was just revealed, you can now grab Jar Jar Binks from the item shop. For the price of 2,000 V-Bucks, players can now play as the legendary Gungan dunce and use his hilarious hijinks across the map.
The character is available to own as a standalone. Still, as always, Fortnite has put together a juicy bundle of accessories and cosmetics to tempt you to part with more credits. The whole bundle gives players a LEGO version of the character, a Gungan Booma back bling, a Gungan Atlatl pickaxe, and an Atlatl Spark Weapons wrap.

However, the Gungan chaos doesn’t end there because Darth Jar Jar also dropped in the item shop. However, fans hoping to snap him up and add him to their collections swiftly are in for disappointment. The character is now this season’s XP Shop Unlock character, which means players must reach a specific level of XP to access his shop tab. Thankfully, the character has many cool accessories like a Terror of Naboo weapons wrap, a Sith Electropole pickaxe, and a Crimson Booma back bling. But, fans will have to grind to reach the levels required to unlock his shop tab. The XP levels you need to reach are listed below:
- Terror of Naboo weapons wrap: 500 V-Bucks – Requires 320K XP
- Sith’s Electropole pickaxe: 800 V-Bucks – Requires 640K XP
- Crimson Booma back bling: 400 V-Bucks – Requires 960K XP
- Darth Jar Jar Skin: 1,500 V-Bucks – Requires 1.28M XP
The galaxy’s most infamous Gungan has embraced the power of the dark side, and you’ll be able to add him to your Locker legion! Trading his typical clumsy antics for a thirst for galactic domination, the Darth Jar Jar Outfit will spark terror (and honestly a little bit of confusion) in Jedi sympathizers across the Island.

What an EPIC new skin (see what I did there?!). Fans have been yearning to expand their prequel collection in Fortnite for some time, so Jar Jar’s arrival will be a welcome boost for Star Wars fans. And thankfully, Jar Jar is just the tip of the iceberg-shaped asteroid. As mentioned, a fully customisable Mandalorian skin is still to come, as well as any surprises Lucasfilm and Epic Games have in store. So, the new Fortnite x Star Wars Galactic Battle season is far from over, and long may it reign.
But what secret skins could Epic Games be working on, I hear you ask? Rumor has it that C-3PO and the classic Imperial TIE Fighter pilot could be getting skin. But the upcoming Mandalorian Uprising chapter of the season could herald the arrival of Jango Fett, Bo-Katan Kryze, Sabine Wren, Paz Viszla, and the Armorer. Aside from Jango Fett, every character has already received a vehicle decal wrap, suggesting their arrival could be imminent, and with the chapter already promising to allow players to take a Mandalorian warrior into battle with them, let’s hope this is the way!
