The new trailer for Dan Trachtenberg’s animated movie Predator: Killer of Killers unleashes the slaughter across time.
A new trailer for Dan Trachtenberg’s Predator: Killers of Killers has unleashed the hunt on animation. Last year, Trachtenberg surprised everyone by announcing he was developing two new Predator projects following the success of Prey. The first of these projects is a futuristic live-action sequel, Predator: Badlands, starring Elle Fanning. The second was an animated anthology following the Predator’s hunt over time.

The first trailer was a visceral affair that showcased Predator hunting across time. Its stunning animation and intense action kept us on the edge of our seats and eager for more. Today, 20th Century Studios has delivered just that. The gripping new trailer rewards us with everything we expect from a Predator film: gruesome kills, noble sacrifices, and battles to the death.
The trailer showcases the alien hunter stalking Viking and Samurai warriors, eventually taking the hunt to the skies during World War II. In a franchise first, the Predator engages in a dogfight with both Nazi and Allied aircraft, promising to be a groundbreaking piece of cinema. Check out the trailer below.
SYNOPSIS
The anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent – the ultimate killer of killers.
Trachtenberg crafted the screenplay with Micho Robert Rutare and directed the animated feature alongside Josh Wassung of the animation company The Third Floor.

NEW POSTER
If the new trailer hasn’t gotten you excited for the hunt yet, the studio has also released a brand new poster for the film. Like the previous poster, this one showcases the stunning animation and brings the movie to life in incredible detail. It also gives us our best look yet at the characters that will carry this bold new chapter in the franchise forward. Check it out below.

RELEASE
What an epic new trailer. The Predator franchise has always been one of the most diverse in the pantheon of Hollywood’s best. However, the transition to animation has liberated the intellectual property, allowing director Trachtenberg to explore areas that other filmmakers often avoid. The results look stunning, and with the release date officially set for June 6th, this summer is shaping up to be an open season for fans.
Predator: Killer of Killers will be released exclusively through the Hulu streaming service on June 6th. UK fans will be able to catch the film on Disney+.
