After attending the same wedding solo, David and Sarah embark on a road trip in their 1996 Passat, with the help of the car’s GPS and a little magic. That is the premise of the upcoming romantic fantasy film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. The film stars Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell as Sarah and David. The film is directed by the South Korean-born American filmmaker Kogonada and is written by Seth Reiss. Also appearing in the movie are Kevin Kline, Lily Rabe, Jodie Turner-Smith, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Billy Magnussen, Sarah Gadon, Brandon Perea, Chloe East, Hamish Linklater, Lucy Thomas, Yuvi Hecht, Calahan Skogman, Jacqueline Novak, Jennifer Grant and Shelby Simmons. PREMISE
What if you could open a doorway and walk through it to re-live a defining moment from your past? Sarah (Margot Robbie) and David (Colin Farrell) are single strangers who meet at a mutual friend’s wedding and soon, through a surprising twist of fate, find themselves on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey – a funny, fantastical, sweeping adventure together where they get to re-live important moments from their respective pasts, illuminating how they got to where they are in the present…and possibly getting a chance to alter their futures.
