GACHIAKUTA
“There’s a raw, emotional current in Gachiakuta that will resonate with fans the moment they see it,” said Gita Rebbapragada, Chief Operating Officer at Crunchyroll. “These promotional efforts are designed to match the excitement and intensity of this remarkable story and hook them into an unforgettable narrative journey.”
Alongside these two looks at the upcoming series, there is also a video interview. This behind-the-scenes look gives fans a glimpse into the creative process of creators Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Andou as they delve into their passion for fusing manga with graffiti.
An interactive experience that allows fans to create their own personalized “Gachi-style” graffiti tags, inspired by the series’ bold aesthetic, is now live. You can try it here!

Moreover, the artists for the OP and ED have been announced! The opening theme is “HUGs” by Paledusk – The globally rising four-piece band infuses their hardcore sound with the emotional resonance of Gachiakuta’s world. The ending theme is “TOMOSHIBI“ by DUSTCELL – Known for their dark, evocative compositions, the duo brings a deeply personal touch that mirrors Rudo’s journey.
Two new characters join the cast of Gachiakuta, along with their celebrated voice actors:
- Regto (voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa): The man who raised Rudo after he lost his parents. He gave Rudo a pair of gloves.
- Jabber (voiced by Yuuki Shin): One of the “Raiders,” a group of ground bandits. He fights using rings containing a powerful neurotoxin.
