SkyMed Will Take To The Air For A Fourth Season On Paramount+

The fourth season of the hit Paramount+ series, SkyMed, will begin production later this summer. It will see the main cast return.

Paramount+ announced today the renewal for Season 4 of its original series SKYMED. Paramount+ in Canada is on board for the first time in series history. The hit medical drama follows the triumphs and tribulations of young medics and pilots who fly air ambulances across the remote skies of Northern Canada. It weaves together intense journeys with jaw-dropping medical rescues 20,000 feet in the air in the most remote conditions. The eight-episode season begins production later this summer, in North Bay, Ontario, and Manitoba. It will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States, Canada, Latin America and Brazil, the UK, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

RETURNING CAST

Returning to SKYMED are series regulars Natasha Calis (Nurses) as Hayley. Morgan Holmstrom (Outlander) as Crystal. Mercedes Morris (Ghosts) as Lexi. Sydney Kuhne (Ginny & Georgia) as Stef and Aaron Ashmore (Ginny & Georgia) as Wheezer. Additional casting announcements will be made in the future.

BEHIND THE SCENES

In Season 4 of SKYMED, Piazza Entertainment teams up with Paramount+ in Canada and CBS Studios for production. Julie Puckrin created the series, drawing inspiration from her sister and brother-in-law, who met while working with air ambulances. Puckrin, along with Gillian Hormel and Vanessa Piazza, takes on the role of executive producer. Producers Rhonda Baker and Carrie Wilkins are also on board from Manitoba. Paramount Global Content Distribution handles the international distribution of SKYMED.
