The Man of Steel details his greatest strength in the latest teaser for James Gunn’s Superman.
With the worldwide press tour officially underway, there’s no stopping the momentum of James Gunn’s Superman. Yesterday, the first fan event in Manila delivered 30 minutes of new footage, as well as a retro, new Richard Donner-inspired poster. But today, another new TV Spot has flown in from Metropolis, and it delivers more incredible new footage. From Superman being attacked by Kryptonite to The Engineer cutting down the Man of Steel’s robots, the teaser has tons to chew over. Rounding out the spot is a monologue from David Corenswet detailing Superman’s greatest strengths. Check it out below via Reel Anarchy.
THE MAN OF STEEL RETURNS
What an impressive new teaser. It feels great to be looking forward to a new Superman movie with such excitement. James Gunn appears to have worked tirelessly to unite the DC fanbase, and judging by the teasers, he seems to be on track to deliver. On the surface, the film appears to be a treasure trove of DC awesomeness, and to see the new DC Universe realized with such conviction is incredibly refreshing. He has also assembled an incredible cast to help bring this vision to life.
James Gunn’s impressive cast features David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. Nicholas Hoult will take on the role of Lex Luthor. They will be joined by Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern and Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific. Also joining them are Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho.

RELEASE
Although the film’s release is still a few weeks away, there is still plenty of Superman fun to look forward to. UK fans can look forward to a Q&A with James Gunn at London’s iconic HMV store on Oxford Street, as well as a special preview event. And, most recently, David Corenswet’s new Superman was added to Fortnite. You can fly around the map as the Man of Steel right now. Here’s how.
