Look up, Superman fans, because NECA has joined the DC party with a 1/4 scale Superman figure from James Gunn’s blockbuster.
Look up, DC fans, because James Gunn’s Superman is flying into the NECA action figure collection. The toy giant has always been at the forefront of the best action figures, and this summer that trend continues with our new Man of Steel. The toy giant has recreated David Corenswet’s chiseled good looks, as well as the all-new Superman suit for this figure, and the results are impressive. Standing at roughly 18 inches tall, it comes with a full range of articulation, a fabric cape, and more. The figure will retail for $149.99 and should hit shelves in October. What an exceptional-looking figure. With a facesculpt as good as this, the figure looks incredible and will take pride of place in any fan’s collection. However, with McFarlane Toys’s range of Superman figures already hitting toy shelves around the world, and the S.H. Figures figure revealed recently, this figure may be arriving too late for some.
What’s worse, the figure is a pipeline reveal, meaning that fans won’t be able to add Superman to their collections until the end of 2025. That being said, pre-orders for the figure open today, so get in early to secure yours. What’s even more welcome is the news that the figure is a general release, so there’s no need to worry about exclusivity. You just need to endure the three-month wait until Superman hits your toy shelf.
