Hot Toys Announces New Figures For Their Summer Showcase 2025

Hot Toys announces additional figures from The Dark Knight and Alien for their Summer Showcase.

Yesterday, Hot Toys unveiled its first wave of figures for the Summer Showcase 2025, ahead of ACGHK, which will take place from July 25 to July 29. Today, they have announced three additional figures: Big Chap from Alien, the Joker (Bank Robber Version) from The Dark Knight, and an Artisan version of the Joker. As usual, Artisan editions are limited; this one will be available in only 3,000 units across select markets.

BIG CHAP

The Alien film series has become a cornerstone of the sci-fi genre, with the 1979 classic “Alien” leading the way. “Big Chap” is the popular nickname for the Xenomorph drone in this iconic film. Created by the visionary H.R. Giger, this chilling creature captures the essence of fear with its sleek, biomechanical look and long, menacing head. As a true symbol of primal terror, Big Chap has captivated audiences for decades, solidifying its place in sci-fi horror history.

Today, Hot Toys is thrilled to unveil the Alien 1/6th scale Big Chap Collectible Figure, bringing this classic character to life with even greater detail and realism.

The impressive Big Chap sixth-scale collectible figure stands at approximately 36 cm tall and is expertly painted and sculpted to capture the organic appearance of a Xenomorph. It features a newly developed head sculpt with intricate internal structures visible beneath a translucent carapace, along with an articulated jaw. The newly designed extendable inner jaw allows collectors to create dynamic facial expressions. The newly developed silicone material body is meticulously painted and sculpted to showcase its fine textures, complete with a bendable tail and eight pairs of interchangeable hands, including one pair with bendable fingers, enabling collectors to create dynamic poses. Additionally, it comes with a Xenomorph remains-themed diorama base for an immersive display. A Special Edition only available in selected markets will include a specially designed Alien metal collectible card with display case.

THE JOKER (BANK ROBBER VERSION)

Heath Ledger’s Joker shocked the world long before the first bullet was fired, his chilling laugh and chaotic actions have made him a true icon of cinema. The bank robbery scene in The Dark Knight serves as a captivating introduction to Ledger’s charming interpretation of the Joker and sets the tone for the character. Today, Hot Toys is excited to unveil the 1/6th scale The Joker (Bank Robber Version) Collectible Figure, offering a polished and authentic take on Ledger’s iconic bank heist Joker.

Coming with two detailed head sculpts equipped with separate rolling eyeballs, including one featuring the Joker’s sinister grin, and another wearing the bank robber clown mask, the figure captures the likeness of The Joker from The Dark Knight’s unforgettable opening bank heist. The sculpt includes mid-length dirty green hair and finely painted skin textures, down to wrinkles and makeup smudges reminiscent of the film. The bank robber attire is meticulously tailored, with a striped shirt under a grey blazer and pants.

Eight newly developed interchangeable hands enable for a range of poses, from gun holding poses and pulling grenade strings to casually holding Joker cards or the clown mask, perfect for recreating any scene from the chaotic bank job. The heavy weapon set matches the heist theme perfectly, including a pistol, shotgun, twelve round grenades, a pull-string smoke grenade, four additional smoke grenades, and a grenade rack. He also arrives with a duffle bag, stacks of money, Joker cards, and a backdrop of the school bus from the heist scene. A remarkable bank-themed diorama base with interchangeable shattered glass door and broken wood boards diorama pieces completes the set. A Special Edition only available in selected markets will include a specially designed The Joker metal collectible card with display case.

This exclusive release, available in only 3,000 units across selected markets, features all the hallmarks of the 1/6th scale The Joker (Bank Robber Version) Collectible Figure but with an exceptional upgrade. His mid-length curly dirty green hair is implanted with wool material, giving the figure an even more lifelike appearance. The figure comes with two detailed head sculpts equipped with separate rolling eyeballs, including one featuring the Joker’s sinister grin, and another wearing the iconic bank robber clown mask.

His outfit is recreated in incredible detail, from the striped shirt and grey blazer to the tailored pants, socks, and brown shoes, every piece contributes to a screen-accurate appearance.
