Good news, Wednesday fans. Jenna Ortega will return for the third season of Wednesday at Netflix. The Addams Family continues to thrive.
Get ready to click your fingers. Just weeks before the highly anticipated second season drops, Jenna Ortega is set to return in Wednesday Season 3! Netflix is so confident in this beloved series that it has already greenlit a third season and is even exploring potential spinoffs. Which characters are shortlisted for the spinoff treatment remains to be seen, but at this point, the cast is so strong that any character has a valid claim.
Details about the potential spinoff are scarce, but according to THR, the only quotes related to that project are “It’s something we’re definitely noodling; there are other characters we can look at” and “There’s a lot to explore in the Addams Family.” If news about Season 3 isn’t enough to have you booking your return trip to Nevermore, Netflix has dropped a new poster for the third season. Check it out below.

SEASON 2
Wednesday Addams returns to prowl the Gothic halls of Nevermore Academy, where fresh foes and woes await. This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery.

RELEASE
Where the events of Wednesday season 3 will take our beloved Wednesday remains to be seen. But considering we are yet to see anything from Season 2, the sky is the limit for the spectacular series. The first season of Tim Burton’s landmark series was a joy to behold, bringing The Addams Family back to the forefront in glorious fashion. So, we have high hopes for Wednesday’s newest season. If Burton and his impressive cast can recapture the same lightning in a bottle that made Season one so successful, our summer of woe could be an incredible one. And with THING ready to click his fingers to the iconic theme tune, we are more than ready for another helping of woe at Nevermore Academy.
Mark the dates in your diary because the new semester at Nevermore begins with Wednesday Season 2, Part 1, on August 6, followed by Part 2 on September 3.
