Greetings programs. With its release just a few short weeks away, Disney has shared a stunning collection of new character posters for Joachim Rønning’s TRON: ARES. The marketing for the long-awaited sequel to TRON: Legacy has been moving along at a steady pace in recent weeks. But with just under a month until we enter the digital world in glorious IMAX, the studio has upped the ante with some glorious new posters.
Recently, we shared a beautiful collection of posters from the film, featuring IMAX, 4DX, and more. However, today’s release focuses on the characters. From Jared Leto’s Ares to Evan Peters’ Julian Dillinger, every character has been rewarded with a suitably atmospheric new poster. But perhaps the most noteworthy one-sheet in the bunch belongs to the legendary Jeff Bridges, who returns as the unconquerable Kevin Flynn. But before we get derezzed, take a look at the posters below.

SYNOPSIS

Although the previously released trailers and synopsis offer some hints about what we can expect in the sequel, Disney is keeping most details under wraps. Only a select few with access to the Master Control Program know the specifics of the plot. But with Jeff Bridges returning as Kevin Flynn and Jared Leto exploring the digital realm outside The Grid, TRON: Ares promises to be another exciting addition to the franchise.

What an effortlessly glorious collection of character posters! The graphic design team at Disney deserves recognition for these atmospheric one-sheets that transport us back to the grid. While Ares and his companions’ posters feature a glowing red and contemporary design, Kevin Flynn’s poster shines in a classic blue, reminiscent of the iconic cinematography from Tron. If the film can capture the same atmosphere as the posters, fans can look forward to a sensational return to the grid next month.
Disney has scheduled the film’s release for October 10, 2025. The studio famously announced that Nine Inch Nails will compose the soundtrack. Daft Punk famously created a sensational and immersive score for TRON: Legacy, so fans hope Nine Inch Nails can deliver a soundtrack of equal brilliance. Regardless, we can all look forward to another journey into the Grid with TRON, which is an exciting prospect in itself.
TRON: ARES takes us back to the Grid on October 10th, 2025.
