EXCLUSIVE: Gaten Matarazzo and Tony Revolori Discuss LEGO: Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy - Pieces of the Past

We spoke with the cast of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past. In this exclusive interview, Gaten Matarazzo and Tony Revolori share their experiences joining the Star Wars universe.

We are just days away from returning to the galaxy far, far away in LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past. The beloved mini series returns on September 19th on Disney+ for four all-new adventures. As expected, fans can expect more calamity and hijinks as Sig Greebling, Dev Greebling, and Jedi Bob encounter a colossal Ahsoka Tano and The Landolorian!

But what can we expect from these fun new episodes? We had a wonderful chat with Gaten Matarazzo and Tony Revolori about their roles as Sig and Dev Greebling. They shared their favorite moments from this fantastic series, and it’s clear they had a blast filming! Our interviewer, Thomas Storai, also delved into their passion for Star Wars and whether they’re into LEGO collecting. Check it out below.

INITIAL THOUGHTS

Thomas was also fortunate enough to catch the new series early. Although we cannot share our full review until the embargo lifts on Friday, we can let you in on his initial thoughts on the show. He said, “LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy – Pieces of the Past is another fun LEGO adventure with many surprises for Star Wars and LEGO fans alike. At its heart, this series is an endearing story about family, like any Star Wars story.” Be sure to check back for his full review soon.

RELEASE

Star Wars fans will be eating well with this series. The franchise always translates well to the LEGO formula, and legacy actors have flocked to the projects to reprise their big-screen counterparts, and that trend continues here. Ashley Eckstein is back as Ahsoka Tano, Billy Dee Williams reprises his role as Lando Calrissian, and Sam Witwer returns as Darth Maul. Unfortunately, Daisy Ridley chose not to return as Sith Rey for this series, but despite this, it seems to have not diminished what is otherwise another triumph for LEGO Star Wars.

LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy – Pieces of the Past premieres on Disney+ on Friday, September 19th.

As always, Future of the Force will be on hand to cover the series from every angle, and our coverage is already rolling down the assembly line. So be sure to check back regularly.
