The Lost Bus Arrives With A Brand New Trailer For The Apple Original Films Survival Thriller

The Lost Bus, Coming This October To Apple TV+ on October 3rd

Starring Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera, and directed by Paul Greengrass, The Lost Bus arrives with a brand new trailer.

Following the world premiere of “The Lost Bus” at the 50th annual Toronto International Film Festival, critics hailed the film as “an instant classic.” And a “celebration of simple heroism, community and overcoming adversity. It keeps you breathless and on the edge of your seat.” Apple Original Films unveiled a second trailer for the highly anticipated new thriller. Directed by Academy Award-nominee Paul Greengrass and inspired by real events. “The Lost Bus” is a white-knuckle ride through one of America’s deadliest wildfires. A wayward school bus driver (Academy Award-winner Matthew McConaughey) and a dedicated school teacher (Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe Award-winner America Ferrera) battle to save 22 children from the terrifying inferno. Hailed by critics, “The Lost Bus” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, October 3, 2025.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Greengrass and Brad Inglesby wrote “The Lost Bus,” and they also take on the roles of producers. Gregory Goodman and Jason Blum produce the film for Blumhouse Productions, with Jamie Lee Curtis producing for Comet Pictures. Amy Lord and Lizzie Johnson, the author of “Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire,” serve as executive producers. Alongside Matthew McConaughey, the cast includes America Ferrera, Yul Vazquez, Ashlie Atkinson, and Spencer Watson.

“The Lost Bus” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, October 3.
