Apple Original Films unveiled the trailer and key art for its highly anticipated new feature, “The Lost Bus.” The thriller will celebrate its World Premiere as a Special Presentation at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival. Directed by Academy Award-nominee Paul Greengrass and inspired by real events, “The Lost Bus” is a white-knuckle ride through one of America’s deadliest wildfires. A wayward school bus driver (Academy Award-winner Matthew McConaughey) and a dedicated school teacher (Emmy, SAG and Golden Globe Award-winner America Ferrera) battle to save 22 children from the terrifying inferno. “The Lost Bus” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, October 3rd.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Greengrass and Brad Inglesby wrote “The Lost Bus,” and they also take on the roles of producers. Gregory Goodman and Jason Blum produce the film for Blumhouse Productions, with Jamie Lee Curtis producing for Comet Pictures. Amy Lord and Lizzie Johnson, the author of “Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire,” serve as executive producers. Alongside Matthew McConaughey, the cast includes America Ferrera, Yul Vazquez, Ashlie Atkinson, and Spencer Watson.

“The Lost Bus” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, October 3.
