A FANTASTIC DEBUT!
What a trailer. As expected, the trailer delivers more of what we love from Cameron’s incredible sandbox. The visuals are stunning, the creatures are wonderfully realized, and the action is everything we have come to expect from James Cameron. We even get our first look at the new villain of the film, the mysterious Varang (Oona Chaplin), and she looks every bit as chilling as she seems daunting.
Recently, James Cameron hinted that the movie would go into “uncharted territory” and that it would be “not what you expect, but it’s definitely what you want.” This news is undoubtedly exciting for fans of the series, who have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to explore the Pandora Sandbox in more detail. Both Avatar movies have been visually stunning so far, and the idea of delving deeper into Pandora is very appealing.
NEW POSTER
Alongside the new trailer, the studio has also shared an all-new theatrical poster for the film. The glossy one-sheet maintains the aesthetics of previous Avatar posters and highlights the characters that will carry this bold addition to the saga forward. Check it out below.
