Fortnite x TRON ARES | First Look at Jared Leto’s Digital Doppelganger

Hey, TRON ARES fans! Jared Leto’s Ares is officially coming to Fortnite, and we finally have our first glimpse of the new skin!
Look out, TRON fans, because Jared Leto’s ARES is officially making his way to Fortnite. With Joachim Rønning’s TRON ARES just days away from bringing the digital world to our cinema screens, Epic Games and Disney have collaborated on another sensational addition to the map. Today, Jared Leto’s new Tron skin has been revealed, and as expected, it looks spectacular. The skin has finally been decrypted, and we now know what cosmetics will be accompanying the latest program to emerge from the Grid when he arrives.
THE SKIN
Ares will be making his debut on the map with three edit styles. That’s right—Jared Leto’s new character will come with three skin variations for players to choose from. The first style features his traditional helmet, while the second showcases an alternate, shaded, semi-transparent helmet from the trailers. Finally, the third variant presents Ares without a helmet, revealing Jared Leto’s chiselled features. Take a look at the skin below.
ACCESSORIES
The skin features an impressive resemblance to Jared Leto and comes packed with some cool cosmetics. You can rock a Dillinger Disc as a back bling. For the pickaxe, he’ll use his derez staff, and there’s also an “OUT OF TRON” custom weapon wrap to match! But if that isn’t enough, Ares’ Jump Jet Glider will get you across the map in style.
The emotes are what really make this character stand out. First up is the Lil’ Light Bike traversal emote, where Ares rolls out in style. Plus, players can give their opponents a run for their money with the classic Portal Beam emote. Check out the image below.
PRICING
Disney and Epic Games have knocked this collaboration out of the park. The TRON ARES set is a premium collection, considering the accessories included, and the cost reflects that. However, Fortnite will always split the components to make the set more affordable. Read on for the full breakdown:

NEW FRONTIERS, NEW COLLABORATIONS
The new Ares skin follows the previously released “As Alive as You Ned Me to Be” Jam Track from Nine Inch Nails, which has made an excellent addition to our game playlist.
Frankly, it is wonderful to see characters from The Grid finally making their way to the map. Previously, only a handful of default skins were rewarded with the TRON treatment, but the Light Cycle glider and Identity Discs made the skins all the more enjoyable. But now, at long last, Ares is the first official character from the franchise to make their debut in-game. So, let’s hope more follow shortly.
