The streaming service Tubi has today revealed the trailer and key art for the upcoming original film sequel, Sidelined 2: Intercepted. Noah Beck and Siena Agudong return for the Tubi Original Film. It will be released on the service on 27th November.
PREMISE
Based on the Wattpad sensation “The QB Bad Boy and Me” by Tay Marley, SIDELINED 2: INTERCEPTED will focus on freshman star quarterback Drayton (Noah Beck). He struggles with the weight of expectations after a devastating setback. Meanwhile, dancer Dallas (Siena Agudong) begins to question the future she thought she wanted. Their high school relationship begins to unravel under the pressures of distance and self-discovery. They’ll learn that the bravest versions of themselves emerge. This happens when they let life redirect them.

ALSO STARRING
The sequel will also see Charlie Gillespie (Julie and the Phantoms), Sage Linder (Descendants 3), and Roan Curtis (Firefly Lane) joining the cast. Additionally, James Van Der Beek (Pose) and Drew Ray Tanner (Riverdale) return to their roles from the original film. Justin Wu will direct the sequel, with Thunderbird Entertainment’s Great Pacific Media, Marshall Arts, and WEBTOON Productions producing.
