Do you like scary movies? Paramount has unleashed the first trailer for Scream 7, and it’s a scream! After the departure of Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega, eyebrows were raised when the studio reverted to formula and brought back Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott. By reuniting her with Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, the film promises to take us back to the beginning to pit our beloved Woodsboro survivors against another Ghost Face. But this time, the slasher may be a face from their past—one who knows them all too well.
Now, with Sidney’s daughter all grown up and a killer vowing to burn her life to the ground, can Sidney survive this latest ordeal? Share your knives and watch the trailer below.
SYNOPSIS
When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.

What a phenomenal new trailer. The Scream franchise has always delivered the goods. Despite the tragic passing of original director Wes Craven, Kevin Williamson has always been on hand to steer the franchise in the right direction. So, it seems fitting that the franchise creator is taking the helm for this outing. With Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette all returning, and Williamson returning to helm the franchise he helped create, Scream 7 has everything going for it. The plot promises to conclude Sidney’s story once and for all, making the film not just exciting but a must-see.
So, get ready to reunite with Woodsboro survivors as they face off against Ghost Face once again. It might be bloody, it may be brutal, but either way, it’s going to be a Scream!
Scream 7 officially releases in US theatres and UK Cinemas on February 27, 2026.
