Hot Toys has revealed a first teaser image for a new Dek figure from Dan Trachtenberg’s Predator Badlands.
Look out, Predator fans, because Hot Toys has teased a brand new figure of Dek, the juvenile hunter from Dan Trachtenberg’s Predator: Badlands. With the film releasing in theaters worldwide today, the collectibles specialist is acting quickly to capitalise on the hype. Although the teaser image does not reveal Dek’s face sculpt, it highlights the incredible detail that the team has put into the figure. The figure also appears to have Dek’s face mask attached, making it a must-have!
If that isn’t enough, the teaser reveals that Elle Fanning’s Weyland-Yutani synthetic, Thia, is attached to Dek’s back, just as she is during the film. So, fans can look forward to adding an incredibly detailed, screen-accurate Predator figure to their collection in the near future. But don’t take my word for it. Join the hunt and check out the teaser below.

REVIEW
We were fortunate enough to be invited to the UK Premiere of the film and got our first look at this phenomenal new adventure. After watching the movie, I said, “Overall, Predator Badlands is another home run for Dan Trachtenberg, albeit an anticlimactic one. By expanding the sandbox and taking the narrative beyond its simplicity, the lore of the Yautja has been opened to interpretation, and legacy fans may be disappointed with the result. That said, the film is a true epic that takes us to a new frontier as beautiful as it is brutal. Jeff Cutter’s glorious cinematography has established this as the most visually stunning Predator film to date, and that is to our benefit. The film looks glorious, making the 107-minute running time fly past in wondrous IMAX, and the scale of the film deserves nothing less.” You can catch my full review here.

THE FILM
The movie follows a juvenile Predator named Dek, who has been banished from its clan and must fend for itself. Along the way, it meets Elle Fanning, a synthetic droid from the Weyland-Yutani corporation, yes, that one! And together, the duo tries to survive against overwhelming odds and reclaim his place in the Yautja hierarchy. But he faces the ultimate test in the hostile world where he has been abandoned.
RELEASE
What an incredible looking figure. Hot Toys appears to be set on delivering the mother of all Predator figures with this release, and we are here for it one hundred percent. The attention to detail on Dek looks exceptional. But with Thia attached to his back, and a bunch of excellent cosmetics in the set, this could be the ultimate Predator figure, and that is extremely exciting. Sadly, Hot Toys has yet to announce an official release date for the figure. But with the film arriving in theaters everywhere today, expect the full reveal to drop soon.
Predator: Badlands brings the hunt to cinemas on November 7th, 2025.
