It’s beginning to look a lot like chaos on Prime Video this Christmas. Check out the first trailer for Michael Showalter’s new chaotic festive flick, OH. WHAT. FUN.
Prime Video has shared the first trailer for Michael Showalter’s’ OH. WHAT. FUN. The upcoming festive flick promises to be the jewel in the streamer’s Christmas crown, boasting a stellar ensemble cast to bring the festive cheer home. The film follows Claire Clauster (Michelle Pfeiffer) as the mainstay of her family’s Christmas festivities. But when the stresses of real life get in the way, and Clauster goes missing, the family must work together to save their Christmas. All the while, Claire embarks on a self-discovery journey and learns the true meaning of Christmas. Sounds like an instant Christmas classic, right?
Ordinarily, the casting of Michelle Pfeiffer alone would be enough to have us invested. But when the ensemble cast includes the talents of Felicity Jones, Chloë Grace Moretz, Denis Leary, Jason Schwartzman, and Eva Longoria, the film just went from intriguing to unmissable. Get your first look at the festive trailer below.
SYNOPSIS
Claire Clauster (Michelle Pfeiffer) is the glue that holds her chaotic, lovable family together every holiday season. From perfectly frosted cookies to meticulously wrapped gifts, no one decks the halls quite like Claire. But this year, as her grown kids and distracted husband get swept up in their own seasonal dramas, they make one crucial mistake: they forget their mom. By the time they realize she’s missing, Claire’s already set off on a festive adventure of her own – one that doesn’t involve cooking, cleaning, or coordinating anyone else’s chaos. As her family scrambles to find her and salvage their Christmas, Claire rediscovers what the holidays mean when you’re finally free to put yourself first.

RELEASE
Well then, OH. WHAT. FUN looks like it’s going to be an absolute blast. The impressive ensemble cast alone guarantees a hilarious Christmas adventure. And when coupled with some well-placed family chaos and some exceptional production value, we could be looking at our next Christmas classic. One worthy of Ebeneezer Scrooge himself. But if that isn’t enough to have you putting up your Christmas tree, the film features an original song by GRAMMY Award winner Gwen Stefani, and that alone is worthy of an eggnog toast or two.
