SYNOPSIS

OFFICIAL POSTER

What a phenomenal new trailer. The new season looks set to dwarf its predecessor in terms of stakes, scale, and creatures, and we could not be more excited. Just the sight of a Cyclops, a giant octopus, the Stygian Witches, and an abundance of colossal monsters is scratching my Ray Harryhausen itch. But if the trailer isn’t enough to get us to return to Mount Olympus, Disney+ also dropped the first poster for the show. It features our fearless trio as they head off into the Sea of Monsters and the waiting tentacles of the giant octopus. Take a look below.

SEASON ONE

The new season needs to step it up to top the show’s first season. In our review of the season opener, our reviewer Thomas Storai mentioned, “Percy Jackson and the Olympians is off to a fantastic start. The series takes its time to develop the story and the characters properly. This one is a faithful adaptation of the original novel! Walker Scobell is amazing, as is Percy Jackson; he was the right choice for the role. And Leah Jeffries is equally as good as Annabeth.” Read his full review here.
