Hot Toys has revealed our first look at the new Dek and Thia figures from Dan Trachtenberg’s Predator Badlands.
Look out, Predator fans, because Hot Toys has revealed a brand new figure of Dek, the juvenile hunter from Dan Trachtenberg’s Predator: Badlands. With the film now performing well at the global box office, the collectibles specialist is acting quickly to capitalise on the hype. The figure boasts an incredible face sculpt, highlighting the team’s attention to detail. The figure also comes in an alternate version with Dek’s face mask attached. This makes the figure a must-have!
If that isn’t enough, the set also reveals that Elle Fanning’s Weyland-Yutani synthetic, Thia, is attached to Dek’s back, just as she is during the film. So, fans can look forward to adding an incredibly detailed, screen-accurate Predator figure to their collection in the near future. But don’t take my word for it. Join the hunt and check out the reveal below.

DEK AND THIA
“Here, you’re not the predator. You’re the prey” – Thia
In Predator: Badlands, the young outcast Yautja warrior Dek and Weyland-Yutani synth Thia form an unlikely alliance to challenge the apex threat of the death planet Genna. As Dek battles to earn his place among his clan and Thia fights to reclaim what was lost to her, their partnership becomes a powerful testament to survival, trust, and the strength found in unity.

His muscular physique is recreated with soft vinyl material for a natural seamless joint design. Dek’s armor is intricately detailed with worn metallic textures, layered over a tunic. He comes armed with a foldable plasma sword, a plasma sword in folded state, as well as foldable bow and arrow that is magnetically attachable to his back. He also comes equipped with two shurikens, along with dual wristblades for a formidable combat stance. Completing his imposing look, a wearable bio-mask and a sand-themed figure stand highlight his commanding presence. The 1/6th scale Thia Collectible Figure showcases a stunning likeness of the Weyland-Yutani android. The figure features a newly developed head sculpt with two pairs of interchangeable separate rolling eyeballs (brown iris eyes and white eyes with Weyland-Yutani Corporation logo), detailed facial scars, along with a finely sculpted blonde hair. Her costume includes a black undersuit and a weathered white jacket, and she comes armed with a pulse rifle. Thia is crafted with a half-body design featuring exposed mechanical details and magnetic connectivity, allowing collectors to attach Thia seamlessly to Dek’s back with the branch-like strap accessory holding her in place — recreating their partnership as seen in the film.

REVIEWÂ
We were fortunate enough to be invited to the UK Premiere of the film and got our first look at this phenomenal new adventure. After watching the movie, I said, “Overall, Predator Badlands is another home run for Dan Trachtenberg, albeit an anticlimactic one. By expanding the sandbox and taking the narrative beyond its simplicity, the lore of the Yautja has been opened to interpretation, and legacy fans may be disappointed with the result. That said, the film is a true epic that takes us to a new frontier as beautiful as it is brutal. Jeff Cutter’s glorious cinematography has established this as the most visually stunning Predator film to date, and that is to our benefit. The film looks glorious, making the 107-minute running time fly past in wondrous IMAX, and the scale of the film deserves nothing less.” You can catch my full review here.

THE FILM
The movie follows a juvenile Predator named Dek, who has been banished from its clan and must fend for itself. Along the way, it meets Elle Fanning, a synthetic droid from the Weyland-Yutani corporation, yes, that one! And together, the duo tries to survive against overwhelming odds and reclaim his place in the Yautja hierarchy. But he faces the ultimate test in the hostile world where he has been abandoned.

RELEASE
What an incredible-looking figure. Hot Toys appears to be set on delivering the mother of all Predator figures with this release, and we are here for it one hundred percent. The attention to detail on Dek looks exceptional. But with Thia attached to his back, and a bunch of excellent cosmetics in the set, this could be the ultimate Predator figure, and that is extremely exciting. The standalone Dek figure costs $345. The Dek and Thia set costs $405. Both are scheduled for release between late 2026 and early 2027.
Predator: Badlands is hunting in cinemas now.
