SYNOPSIS
The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.

RELEASE
What a phenomenal final trailer. Stranger Things has been a staple of our pop culture landscape for so long that the idea of it being put out to pasture is an alien concept. The Duffer Brothers changed the face of television when the series debuted in 2016, triggering a welcome sense of nostalgia for ’80s kids everywhere. Since then, the Flagship Series has gained legions of followers and is one of the most-watched streaming titles of all time. So, how will the show curtail the Hawkins crew’s adventures? Only time will tell. But with a show as beloved as this, expect Stranger Things 5 to go out with a massive bang!
The Stranger Things 5 Finale will release on Netflix on New Year’s Day at 1 AM GMT.
