Burke Doeren's Grizzly Night Comes to Home Entertainment

Get ready, creature feature fans, because Burk Doeren’s Grizzly Night is coming to home media. The true-life horror story tells the harrowing tale of two attacks by grizzly bears, nine miles apart, that took place in Montana’s Glacier National Park. The event sent shockwaves across the world as the first fatal bear attacks in the park’s history, and resulted in the deaths of two teenagers. And now, the story of that fateful night is coming home.

The film, directed by Burke Doeren, stars Brec Bassinger, Jack Griffo, Charles Esten, and Oded Fehr and promises to be a chilling affair. With some breathtaking cinematography, brutal Grizzly action, and spine-chilling attacks, the film is a shoo-in to hit the top spot on our watchlist. Thankfully, Lightbulb Film Distribution has shared a trailer for the film, so grab a cushion to hide behind and hit play!

SYNOPSIS

Based on true events, the film is about one night, in 1967, when two attacks by grizzly bears, nine mile apart, took place in Montana’s Glacier National Park.

CAST & CREW

The film stars Brec Bassinger (Final Destination: Bloodlines), Jack Griffo (The Thundermans), Charles Esten (The Postman), Oded Fehr (The Mummy, Star Trek Discovery), Joel Johnstone (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Josh Zuckerman (Feast), Matt Lintz (The Walking Dead) and Ali Skovbye (The Man in the High Castle). Burke Doeren makes his feature directorial debut.

POSTER

If the suitably chilling trailer wasn’t enough to have you cancel this year’s camping trip, the new poster will. The glorious one-sheet features a peaceful campsite being attacked by a rather colossal, and comically hench Grizzly. Take a look below.

RELEASE

What a phenomenal trailer. We love a creature feature here at Future of the Force, and the thought of a true story featuring a Grizzly Bear is right up our alley. In truth, the event was a chilling reminder of the dangers of feeding wildlife whenever we go camping. Our actions altered the bears’ behaviour, causing a clash that changed the face of the park forever. And that is a chilling prospect.

With the directorial flair of newcomer Burke Doeren and a sharp screenplay by Bo Bean, Katrina Mathewson, and Tanner Bean, the film looks like a riot. So get ready for a chilling night in when the film roars onto digital next month.

Grizzly Night will be released in the UK & Ireland from 2nd February. Look for it on Amazon, AppleTV, Sky Store, YouTube Movies, EETV, and Virgin Media Store. But if you’re a physical media enthusiast, you can grab the film on DVD.
