From director Frank E. Flowers and producers The Russo Brothers, the action-adventure movie The Bluff delivers its first look.
Drink up me hearties, yo ho! The pirate movie has been a staple of the cinematic landscape since…well, it feels like forever. From Errol Flynn’s swashbuckling escapades through to Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. We all love watching a good old-fashioned pirate romp. They used to be the staple for a Saturday afternoon matinee on TV. Now, we can add The Bluff to that list. The film is coming to Prime Video on February 26th. The cast features Priyanka Chopra-Jonas in the lead role, with support from Temuera Morrison, Ismael Cruz Cordova, and Karl Urban.
Described as a nonstop thrill ride, blending historical context with modern cinematic flair, filled with gripping sword fights, tactical traps, and bloody brawls, The Bluff is an action-adventure we can enjoy with friends and family, reminding us of the lengths we would go to protect the ones we love. Priyanka Chopra Jonas delivers a fierce, physical performance as the complex and dynamic heroine Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden. She fiercely battles her violent past in order to protect her family.

THE PREMISE
Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) thought she had escaped her violent past as a pirate. She found peace in the Cayman Islands with her loving husband, T.H. (Ismael Cruz Cordova), their son, Isaac (Vedanten Naidoo), and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Safia Oakley-Green). When her notorious former captain, Connor (Karl Urban), arrives seeking revenge, Ercell’s world shatters. She must confront the demons she’s long buried and is thrust back into a deadly game of secrets and survival. Armed with lethal swordsmanship, cunning traps, and a fierce will to protect those she loves, she wages a brutal war against Connor’s merciless crew. Ercell’s fight to save her family becomes a journey of redemption. She reclaims her power and embraces the warrior she once was. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Cayman Brac’s Skull Cave and towering bluffs.
