Get a better look at the titular duo in this fresh look at Disney’s Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu.
Just weeks after the first trailer transported us back to the galaxy far, far away, a new look at Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian and Grogu has emerged from Adelphi Base. Thanks to the team at USA Today, fans can enjoy a fresh look at the titular duo as they take control of the cockpit of an Imperial AT-AT. The image below shows Din Djarin wearing a new grey-coloured jumpsuit beneath his Beskar. What’s more, Mando is standing inside the Walkers’ cockpit with Grogu clinging to his back. Take a look below:

Armored warrior Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his little buddy (aka Baby Yoda) hyperspace jump from Disney+ to the big screen. The “Star Wars” pair are enlisted to help the New Republic with pesky Imperial warlords, plus form an alliance with an ex-Rebel pilot (Sigourney Weaver) and get involved with Jabba the Hutt’s son (Jeremy Allen White). Per USA Today.
AT-AT ATTACK
What an incredible new image. It’s probably from the same scene shown in the trailer, with the pair likely hijacking the walker and taking it down. Moments later, the vehicle topples from the clifftop and plummets into the icy depths. The clue is the snow fluttering into the open cockpit top hatch, so we can expect this sequence to deliver a major piece of Star Wars action.
SYNOPSIS
The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.

RELEASE
Despite the film approaching its May release date, news about the project has been relatively limited. However, that is about to change. A new teaser was included with screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash, which showed Din Djarin battling creatures in an arena—similar to Han Solo’s Dejarik table on the Millennium Falcon. So, expect the hype train to leave the spaceport soon, full steam ahead.
The Star Wars saga has always blown us away with its big-screen adventures, and The Mandalorian and Grogu looks set to continue that tradition. With Ludwig Göransson returning to compose the score and Jon Favreau filming the movie for the IMAX experience, Star Wars fans will be eating extremely well in May.
The Mandalorian and Grogu embark on their most thrilling mission yet in Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, opening exclusively in cinemas on 22nd May, 2026.
