SYNOPSIS
From Sony Pictures Animation, the studio behind Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, comes GOAT, an original action-comedy set in an all-animal world. The story follows Will, a small goat with big dreams who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros and play roarball – a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest, fiercest animals in the world. Will’s new teammates aren’t thrilled about having a little goat on their roster, but Will is determined to revolutionise the sport and prove once and for all that “smalls can ball!”

RELEASE
With its impressive animation style and incredible cast, GOAT appears to be on course to become another banger for Sony Pictures Animation. Like the Spider-Verse movies, the animation style is clean and crisp, and the storyline is another rags-to-riches story we can all rally behind. We all love an underdog story, and Sony is unearthing the mother of all underdog stories. Especially one boasting the talents of Jelly Roll and David Harbour, I mean, come on!
Sony Pictures Animation’s Goat opens in theatres on February 13.
