A Treasure Trove of New Character Posters For Fallout Season 2 Emerge From Vegas

Exciting news for Fallout fans! New character posters are here, and they promise everyone’s a winner in Vegas… eventually.

With the new season now in its final stages, Prime Video has shared a bunch of new character posters for Fallout Season 2. The series made a triumphant return in December and whisked us back to New Vegas for more wasteland hijinks with Lucy and The Ghoul. But with Hank experimenting on human test subjects, there was no limit to his depravity. Since then, the new season has descended into another brilliant adventure, and today, the new character posters celebrate the characters we met along the way. From The Ghoul and Lucy, to Mr. House, and Max, all the major players are here. But don’t lose control of your pit boy, check out the new posters below.

REVIEW

In my FIVE-STAR review of the new season, I said: “Fear not, Vault Dwellers, because the premiere episodes of Fallout Season 2 deliver more of what we love. The series picks up exactly where we left off and hits the ground running with a pulse-pounding opening salvo that adds more meat to the bones of the story. Once again, the showrunners have developed a wholly original narrative this season. But just like its predecessor, fans of the franchise can look forward to a treasure trove of familiar tropes and iconography coming to life on screen.

The series quickly reminds us of the dystopian world we are returning to with an explosive reunion with The Ghoul and Lucy. Although their relationship is tenous at best, they have forged a partnership that is a joy to watch. Sometimes, these unlikely allies show signs of warmth and trust, while at other times, their differences threaten to split them apart. But as always, they are united by a common goal – to bring Lucy’s treacherous father to justice.” Read the full review here.

THE SERIES

Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

Ella Purnell is Lucy, an optimistic Vault-dweller with an all-American can-do spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when she is forced to the surface to rescue her father. Aaron Moten is Maximus, a young soldier who rises to the rank of squire in the militaristic faction called the Brotherhood of Steel. He will do anything to further the Brotherhood’s goals of bringing law and order to the wasteland. Walton Goggins is the Ghoul, a morally ambiguous bounty hunter who holds within him a 200-year history of the post-nuclear world. These disparate parties collide when chasing an artefact from an enigmatic researcher that has the potential to radically change the power dynamic in this world.

SEASON 2

Prime Video’s Fallout stars Ella Purnell, Kyle MacLachlan, Walton Goggins, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Aaron Moten, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, and Annabel O’Hagan. Joining the cast for Season 2 is Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, who will be playing the recurring role of “a crazy genius-type character.”

FALLOUT has quickly established itself as one of the best game adaptations in film. It features exceptional storytelling and stunning cinematography that effectively captures the vastness and horror of a post-apocalyptic world. The standout element of the film is its fantastic cast. Ella Purnell delivers a sensational performance as Lucy, while Aaron Moten gives a masterful portrayal of Maximus. However, Walton Goggins is the highlight, with many calling it his best performance to date.
