KPOP DEMON HUNTERS
Since its release in June 2025, KPop Demon Hunters has skyrocketed to become Netflix’s most popular film of all time, garnering prestigious awards and critical acclaim in the process. To-date, the film has amassed over 500 million streams.
“Golden” is the headline track in KPop Demon Hunters and was the number one streamed song globally in 2025 (via Nielsen/ Luminate). The song also remains the top-streamed song in 2026 so far. It is now approaching 4 billion total streams. The song also delivered an extraordinary run at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Furthermore, it held the #1 position for eight consecutive weeks.
The achievement made history as the first female K-Pop song ever to reach #1 on the chart. It also secured the longest #1 reign of the 21st century by a female group. The film’s record-setting soundtrack was also nominated for five Grammy Awards, including “Song of the Year”. “Golden” went on to win the Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media. With this, it broke the record books once again as the first K-Pop song ever to win a Grammy.
