Are you ready to help with the attempt to find Emily? Let’s hope so. The new British romantic comedy, Finding Emily, is coming to cinemas soon. The film, directed by Alicia McDonald, opens on May 22nd. It stars Spike Fearn and Angourie Rice in a comedic tale of trying to find that special one (or so we believe). Also featuring a cast including Minnie Driver, Ella Maisy Purvis. Yali Topol Margalith and Fiona Allen, it looks to be an engaging, charming, funny and heartfelt movie that will appeal to audiences across the world. THE PREMISE
When a lovesick musician is given the wrong number for his dream girl, he teams up with a driven psychology student to find her. Together, they spark a hilarious campus-wide frenzy that tests their own hearts and ambitions along the way.
Just from the look of the trailer, we can see what we are in for. It resonates with us on some differing levels, throwing up some moral questions like Is this person the one? Are we going too far in our pursuit of them? What exactly are the lengths we will go to in an attempt to reconnect with that person? And are we overlooking that someone who is perfect for us, even when they are right in front of our eyes? With the comedic tone and touches we see in the trailer, the film could be something special that will touch us all.

The film is produced for Working Title by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, whose films, including Bridget Jones, About Time, Love Actually, Notting Hill, among others, have earned 14 Academy Awards and six Best Picture nominations. The film is also produced by Olivier Kaempfer (Lollipop, Polite Society).
