It also stars Amanda Fix, Arthur Conti, Eva Victor, Zach Cherry, Sarah Sherman, Patrick Fischler, Dylan Baker, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Kevin McDonald, Quintessa Swindell, and Jack Haven. Schoenbrun both writes and directs the film, while Plan B takes on the production role. MUBI financed the film and will distribute it in select territories. These include North America, Latin America, the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Austria, Benelux, Spain, Italy, Turkey, India, Australia and New Zealand. However, the Match Factory is handling the remaining worldwide sales. Daniel Bekerman (Executive Producer) from Scythia Films provided local production services.
THE PREMISE
After years of slapdash sequels and waning fandom, the Camp Miasma slasher franchise is handed over to an enthusiastic young director for resurrection. But when she visits the original movie’s star, a now-reclusive actress shrouded in mystery, the two women fall into a blood-soaked world of desire, fear, and delirium.
