THE PREMISE

Get ready for a powerful new film releasing in cinemas this Easter in time for Lent. The Last Supper offers a deeply moving and highly cinematic retelling of this sacred and iconic event.

In Jerusalem, on the night before his arrest, Jesus shares a final meal with his twelve disciples. As bread is broken and wine is shared, words of love, warning, and revelation expose hidden fears and quiet betrayals. Meanwhile, faith is tested, and destiny draws near. In addition, one disciple prepares to change history forever in this reverent portrayal of one of the most significant moments in Christian tradition.

Anchored in humanity and quiet tension, The Last Supper captures the love, fear, and faith that shaped these final, pivotal hours, a moment that would echo through history for centuries to come.

Starring James Oliver Wheatley (The Lost Pirate Kingdom), Jamie Ward (Juliet & Romeo), James Faulkner (Da Vinci’s Demons) and Robert Knepper (Prison Break), The Last Supper is co-written and directed by Mauro Borrelli and executive produced by popular music star Chris Tomlin, making his first foray into cinema.
