Warner Bros has revealed the first teaser for Dune: Part Three, which shows a war-torn Arrakis and a fractured Atreides family.
After revealing a treasure trove of new character posters last night, Warner Bros has dropped the first teaser for Dune: Part Three. The long-awaited threequel is emerging from the sand dunes of Arrakis and onto cinema screens in December. But with the spice now settling on the poster drop, the studio has revealed the first footage from the film, and it promises to be a banger. The first footage reveals a war-torn Arrakis and a fractured Atreides family, some twelve years after the events of the last outing.
The film is expected to be an adaptation of Frank Herbert’s 1969 novel Dune Messiah, which bookends Paul Atreides story. So expect the trilogy to end with a massive bang! With Robert Pattinson adding some much-needed menace and Timothée Chalamet looking to close out his tenure in the Dune universe, the film looks set to be an early Christmas cracker. So, dust off the spice and check out the teaser below.
CAST & CREW
In addition to Chalamet as Paul Atreides, the sequel also features the return of Zendaya as Chani, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, and Robert Pattinson as Scytale, a key figure in the conspiracy to overthrow Paul. Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke are playing Leto II and Ghanima, the twin children of Paul and Chani.

RELEASE
Okay, the film looks sensational and promises to take audiences to a very different corner of the Dune universe. With the Atreides family strained to its limits and war around every corner, Dune Part Three looks like an absolute triumph. Whether Denis Villeneuve can eclipse his previous work remains to be seen. But based on the first trailer, fans have a lot to look forward to this December.
Dune: Part Three is slated to hit cinemas on December 18, currently the same day as Avengers: Doomsday. So get ready for a monumental Christmas! Are you a fan of the new trailer? Drop a comment in the chat below.
