The Good Ship Murder sets sail for a fourth season. The crime drama, starring Shayne Ward and Catherine Tyldesley, is produced by Clapperboard in association with Fifth Season.
5 has today confirmed that The Good Ship Murder will return for a fourth series. This happens following the continued success of the hit crime drama. The series is produced by Clapperboard in association with FIFTH SEASON. The new series promises more sun-soaked destinations and spectacular show tunes. In addition, there will be gripping mysteries on the high seas.
Shayne Ward reprises his role as cabaret singer turned detective Jack Grayling as he embarks on a brand new voyage packed with intrigue and danger. The new series will open with Catherine Tyldesley returning as First Officer Kate Woods for a special appearance in episode one. This marks Kate’s final chapter on board. As a result, her departure sets the stage for an exciting new era for Jack. He will navigate fresh challenges, new alliances, and unexpected twists.
A WAVE OF GUEST STARS AND NEW CHARACTERS
The new series will introduce a wave of guest stars and new characters as the ship sets sail once more. This signals the beginning of a bold new adventure for the much-loved crime drama.

Clapperboard and FIFTH SEASON will once again join forces to produce The Good Ship Murder (8 x 60’). Executive Producers for Clapperboard are Mike Benson and Andy Morgan, with Jonathan Phillips producing. Greg Barnett, the Commissioning Editor, has ordered the series. FIFTH SEASON is handling global distribution.
