Sky Celebrates 28 Nominations At The 2026 BAFTA TV & Craft Awards

The Death of Bunny Munro and Lockerbie: A Search for Truth receive four nominations each at the 2026 BAFTA TV & Craft awards, among 28 nominations in total for Sky.

Sky has marked a standout performance at the 2026 BAFTA TV & Craft Awards, securing 28 nominations across all categories. This means that for the second consecutive year, Sky received nominations in every genre it commissions original content in, highlighting the range and quality of its Sky Originals.

This year also marks one of Sky’s most successful showings ever in performance categories, with five nominations. Colin Firth (Lockerbie: A Search for Truth), Matt Smith (The Death of Bunny Munro), and Rafa Mathé (The Death of Bunny Munro) are all recognised for their work in Sky Original series. They are joined by Aimee Lou Wood (The White Lotus) and Emilia Jones (Task), rounding out a strong year for acting nominations.

THE LEADING NOMINATIONS

Leading the Sky nominations are two limited series , The Death of Bunny Munro and Lockerbie: A Search for Truth, with four nominations each. Alongside acting nods for Matt Smith and Rafa Mathé, The Death of Bunny Munro has been recognised for Original Music: Fiction (Nick Cave and Warren Ellis) and Titles & Graphic Identity. Alongside Colin Firth’s nomination, Lockerbie: A Search for Truth has also received nominations for Make Up & Hair Design, Costume , and Sound: Fiction.

Sky’s documentary output also continues to gain critical acclaim, with Bibaa & Nicole: Murder in the Park  earning a nomination for Factual Series. This follows its recent Grierson Award win and RTS nomination, underscoring its impact and the quality of its documentary-making.

For the first time ever, a Sky Original series from Italy has also earned a BAFTA nomination, with Tom Rowlands recognised for Original Music for Mussolini: Son of the Century.

DOUBLE NOMINATIONS

Additionally, Sky has achieved double nominations in seven categories, including  Romesh Ranganathan receiving dual nominations in the Entertainment Performance category for Rob & Romesh Vs… and  Romesh: Can’t Knock The Hustle.

These nominations reflect Sky’s continued investment in high-quality, unmissable storytelling across genres, as well as its commitment to working with world-class creative talent.
