The streamer has tasked the director of Where the Crawdads Sing, Olivia Newman, with bringing this captivating story to life, and she is pulling double duty on this project. CAST & CREW
The film promises to be a wonderfully uplifting drama that will tug at the heartstrings and remind us of the importance of family. As a result, Olivia Newman has put together a phenomenal crew to bring the poignant adventure to life. In addition to Sally Field and Lewis Pullman, the film stars Colm Meaney, Joan Chen, Kathy Baker, Beth Grant, and Sofia Black D’Elia. Rounding out the cast as the voice of the adorable Giant Pacific Octopus is the legendary Alfred Molina.
Behind the camera, Bryan Unkeless, Peter Craig, and David Levine serve as producers. Erika Hampson, Olivia Newman, Alisa Tager, Tony Lipp, and Alyssa Rodrigues serve as executive producers, with Shelby Van Pelt rounding out the crew to ensure the production does justice to her wonderful novel.
