THE UK TOP TEN

This week sees two new entries and four re-entries into the chart positions. We also have a brand new number one title. But what are these new and returning movies, and where have they entered the chart? Put on your moonwalking shoes as we find out.

(1) MICHAEL

Michael makes a dazzling debut at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart this week, entering straight in at the summit. The music biopic charts the life, artistry, and cultural impact of Michael Jackson, exploring the story behind one of the most influential entertainers of all time.

(2) PROJECT HAIL MARY

Last week’s chart-topper, Project Hail Mary, drops one place to Number 2. The sci-fi epic follows a lone astronaut on a desperate mission to save humanity, as he uncovers the scale of the threat facing Earth — and the extraordinary lengths needed to stop it.

(3) SCREAM 7

There is a huge climb for Scream 7, which vaults 19 places to Number 3. The latest installment in the iconic slasher franchise brings Ghostface back for another terrifying chapter of mystery, survival, and shocking twists.

(4) MORTAL KOMBAT II

Another new entry arrives at Number 4, as Mortal Kombat 2 makes its Official Film Chart Top 10 debut. Based on the legendary video game series, the action fantasy sequel returns to the brutal tournament world of fighters, rival realms, and high-stakes combat.

(5) AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH

Avatar – Fire and Ash slips three places to Number 5.

(6) THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie drops three places to Number 6.

(7) HOPPERS

Hoppers rebounds three places to Number 7.

(8) ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER

One Battle After Another re-enters the chart at Number 8.

(9) SINNERS

There is also a big climb for Sinners, which jumps 15 places to Number 9.

(10) JURASSIC WORLD: REBIRTH

Jurassic World – Rebirth climbs one place to Number 10 to round out this week’s Official Film Chart Top 10.

And that is this week’s official UK top ten chart. Next week, we should see the supernatural horror movie Hokum debut in the top ten after its PVOD release this week. Will it manage to scare Michael off the top spot? You know what to do. So, until next time…
