THE OFFICIAL UK TOP TEN
This week sees a single new entry and five re-entries into the chart. To make way for these titles, we lose Gladiator, The Wizard Of Oz, The Wild Robot, Dune Part Two, and Despicable Me 4. And once again, we have a new number one. What could it be? In the chart, no one can hear you scream as we find out.

ALIEN: ROMULUS FINALLY HITS THE TOP!
Alien: Romulus rises to Number 1 on the Official Film Chart following its release on disc. Thanks to strong physical sales following its release on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD, the film lifts three to earn a place at the top of the chart for the first time. (Read our review here.)

THE GHOST WITH THE MOST IS BACK!
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice re-enters the chart this week, matching its previous peak of Number 2. (Read our review here.)

SON OF A NUTCRACKER!
Christmas classic Elf ascends six places up the Top 10 to Number 3.

IT’S LOVE ACTUALLY!
Love Actually flies ten places to Number 4.

THE POLAR EXPRESS STEAMS UP SEVEN PLACES!
The Polar Express steams up seven places to Number 5.

GODZILLA MINUS ONE ROARS INTO THE CHART!
This week’s highest new entry is the 2023 epic Godzilla Minus One, which makes its debut at Number 6. (Read our review here.)

THE ANIMATED GRINCH GETS KICKED DOWN!
Last week’s Number 1 The Grinch (2018) loses six places as it falls to Number 7.

WONKA SWEETLY REJOINS THE CHART!
Former Number 1 Wonka soars up 16 places to Number 8, marking its 23rd non-consecutive week in the Top 10. (Read our review here.)

JIM CARREY’S THE GRINCH RETURNS!
The live-action 2000 version of The Grinch hits Number 9, lifting four places.

DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE DROP TO THE BOTTOM!
Rounding out this week’s chart is former chart-topper Deadpool & Wolverine, which tumbles seven places to Number 10. (Read our review here.)

THE CHART COULD GET TRANSFORMED!
This week’s big new release heads straight to retail. Transformers One is a new animated version of the classic Hasbro property. Featuring the voices of Chris Hemsworth, Brian Tyree Henry, Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm, the film is set on Cybertron, the home planet of the Transformers, and depicts the origins and early relationship of Optimus Prime and Megatron. (Read our review here.) The film is a brilliant family film and is the perfect Christmas gift for the Transformers fan in your life. The film is now available on all the home entertainment formats.
