REVIEWS

We had a blast with the second season. Our reviewer, Thomas Storai, said: “X-Men ’97 makes a strong return. The first four episodes of Season 2 are action-packed and fast-paced. Divided across three different eras in time, the story keeps the stakes high and will keep you entertained from start to finish with some major surprises. You never really know where it’s going.” Read his full review here.

RELEASE

These posters are glorious. With the season now underway, they serve as a reminder of just how ambitious X-Men ’97’s time-travel saga has become. Whether fans are following the battles in the past, present, or future, the series continues to deliver the action, drama, and nostalgia that made its first season such a hit. As the story unfolds and the fractured teams inch closer to reuniting, viewers can expect even more surprises from Marvel’s acclaimed animated revival, and we are here for it 100%.

Whether or not the series can outshine the brilliance of the first season remains to be seen. But with Wolverine popping his bone claws and Cable unleashing his own brand of brutal justice, X-Men ’97 S2 is off to a flying start.

X-Men ’97 Season 2 continues on Wednesday, 8th of July on Disney+.
