THE WEEK’S TOP TEN ON HOME ENTERTAINMENT REVEALED
This week sees a single new entry and one re-entry into the chart placings. We also have a new number one title. But what are these new and returning titles, where have they entered the chart, and what’s hit the top spot? Learn how to Moonwalk all over again as we find out.
(1) MICHAEL
Michael returns to Number 1 on the Official Film Chart this week, climbing one place to reclaim the top spot. The Michael Jackson biopic previously spent three weeks at Number 1 across June and early July and now returns to the summit to extend its impressive run on the Official Film Chart.
(2) SCARY MOVIE
This week’s highest new entry comes courtesy of Scary Movie (2026), which makes a frighteningly strong debut at Number 2. The latest installment in the comedy-horror franchise reunites familiar faces Cindy, Brenda, Shorty, and Ray as another masked killer pulls them back into a chaotic world of horror movie parody.
(3) THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2
Meanwhile, The Devil Wears Prada 2 makes a fashionable four-place climb to Number 3 after previously taking the crowd last month. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return for the long-awaited sequel, which sees Miranda Priestly and Andy Sachs reunited as they navigate a radically changed magazine publishing landscape.
(4) DISCLOSURE DAY
Last week’s chart-topper Disclosure Day slips three places to Number 4. Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi blockbuster centers on a world-changing revelation that forces humanity to confront the possibility that we are not alone.
(5) OBSESSION
Supernatural horror Obsession holds firm at Number 5. Written and directed by Curry Barker, the film follows Bear, whose wish for his childhood friend Nikki to fall in love with him quickly turns into something far more terrifying.
(6) STAR WARS: THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU
Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu drops two places to Number 6 this week. The big-screen Star Wars adventure sees Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu enlisted by the fledgling New Republic as Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy.
(7) THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE
Former Number 1, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie falls one place to Number 7.
(8) SUPERGIRL
Supergirl drops five to Number 8. Starring Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, Supergirl follows the Kryptonian hero as she reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an interstellar journey of vengeance and justice.
(9) TROY
Historical epic Troy holds strong at Number 9 for another week.
(10) SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME
Finally, Spider-Man: No Way Home swings one place higher to Number 10, returning to the Official Film Chart Top 10 and completing this week’s rundown.
