THE UK TOP TEN

This week sees one new release and three re-entries hit the chart positions. But what could they be, and where have they entered the chart placings? As Billie Jean is not my lover, let’s find out!

(1) MICHAEL

Michael continues its reign at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart, holding firm at the top for a second week. The Universal Pictures release, which tells the story of Michael Jackson’s life and legacy beyond the music, traces his journey from his early discovery as the lead singer of the Jackson 5 to becoming one of the most influential and ambitious entertainers of all time.

Based on Enid Blyton’s beloved children’s stories, The Magic Faraway Tree follows a modern family who relocate to the English countryside, where the children discover an enchanted tree filled with eccentric residents and ever-changing magical lands. The family fantasy stars Claire Foy and Andrew Garfield as parents Polly and Tim, with the children’s adventures bringing a nostalgic dose of magic to this week’s chart.
