At long last, the first trailer for Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 has emerged from the Force. After what has felt like an eternity, Dave Filoni has finally pulled back the curtain and delivered our first look at what appears to be an incredible second season. The new footage promises to crank the stakes considerably higher, with Grand Admiral Thrawn once again preparing to unleash chaos across the galaxy. With the sinister Chiss strategist declaring war on the Rebel Alliance, Ezra Bridger and the crew of the Ghost face the daunting task of stopping the galaxy from being torn apart. But they won’t be getting much help from Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren.
STRANDED
Stranded on the other side of the galaxy, Ahsoka and Sabine are fighting their own battle as they attempt to find their way home. Meanwhile, Ezra, Zeb, and Hera have their work cut out for them as Thrawn’s return threatens to plunge the galaxy into all-out war. But before we dive into every glorious detail, there’s only one thing left to do.

What an action-packed first trailer. Fans have been longing to see Thrawn’s return come to fruition, and with this trailer, Dave Filoni has delivered in spades. The new season looks phenomenal, and if the footage is anything to go by, we’re in for something truly special when the series returns to Disney+ in January.
But thankfully, Filoni wasn’t done. Lucasfilm’s new supremo also unveiled the first poster for the new season, and, as expected, it’s an absolute work of art. Featuring Ahsoka Tano and Grand Admiral Thrawn, the stunning poster has been brought to life through a beautiful painted design that perfectly captures the epic scale and atmosphere of the series. So, there you have it. The new year is set to get off to a flying start when Star Wars returns to the small screen. The new season looks absolutely phenomenal, and, as always, we’ll be first in line to experience every twist, turn, and lightsaber clash. But the big question remains: can Dave Filoni raise the bar even higher and deliver a second season that surpasses the brilliance of his first? That’s no small task, but if this trailer is anything to go by, we could be in for something truly special.
